Sometimes I run slow Sometimes I run quick

Any runner knows that some days you feel awesome and some days you feel like your legs are stuck in molasses, unfortunately today was definitely one of those days.  I often have to remind myself not to become frustrated if I don't feel my best and also to listen to my body. I have a problem sometimes knowing when to slow down( everything in a New York minute I guess), or just take a day of rest.  I often spend too much time thinking about why I feel like crap on a particular day, when really there is not one particular reason. Sometimes everything lines up perfectly and I have a euphoric experience and there is nothing I can pinpoint that I did differently.  Either way, we keep coming back for more whether it be redemption for the slow molasses day we had, or to recreate the runners high of the quick and effortless feeling we had.  With this said, tomorrow will be a day of chasing redemption...and that runners high!
