Always Good

    For the past six years I have been working as a server at one of the best restaurants in town, Porcupine Pub and Grille. This is a place where the food is always good and the nachos are out if this world!   There are many reasons why I love my job, one because it is a great atmosphere with awesome and active clientele, but another is because my co- workers are like family to me.  Living so far away from home has caused me to create my own little support system out west , and the group at porcupine are the most supportive friends I could have.  Which is why I was so grateful and super stoked about having Porcupine Pub And Grill be my first official sponsor.  I am extremely excited about representing the porcupine while doing the thing that I am most passionate about, triathlon.  It is so nice to finally tie together two very important parts of my life.
   Byron and Brian, thank you for believing in me, and having a place that I can stop into after long runs and grab a chocolate milk, where my ahi salad is what's for dinner before a big training day and where I can reward myself with a peanut butter cream cheese pie!
   Jess and Kyle, thank you for putting this relationship together, for putting your faith in me and rewarding my accomplishments as an athlete! Jess you are the best training buddy, friend and sports psychologist that a girl could have!
   And to all of my porcupine peeps! If it wasn't for you folks listening to my stories about this crazy sport, trading me shifts so I can train longer, asking about races and cheering me on from hours away, I would not be as motivated to make all of you proud!
    Finally Jake, the best boyfriend and boss, my rock, and the one who pushes me to be the best athlete I can be. The one who knows what it means to me not when I place first, but when I place fifth or twentieth, and the guy who has never missed a race!! Thank you!
